A yoga teacher in Haryana, India, was murdered over an alleged affair. Jagdeep, who taught at Baba Mastnath University and rented a room in Hardeep’s house, was accused of having an affair with Hardeep’s wife.
In December 2024, Hardeep and his friends kidnapped Jagdeep, tied him up, beat him, and buried him alive in a 7-foot deep pit in Charkhi Dadri. Hardeep had previously prepared the pit, telling others it was for a borewell.
Jagdeep was reported missing on January 3. After months of investigation, police tracked his call records, leading to the arrest of Hardeep and his accomplice, Dharampal. During interrogation, they confessed, and Jagdeep’s body was recovered on March 24, 2025. Police are pursuing other suspects in the case.
