On Friday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio responded to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan's recent accusation of sexual harassment against him.
Akpabio reiterated the Senate's dedication to advancing gender equality and removing obstacles to women's advancement across the country while speaking at the 2025 International Women's Day program.
Remember how the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions recommended that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan be suspended for six months on Thursday, March 7, after the committee found her guilty of misbehavior and failed to appear before it.
She accused the Senate President of sexual harassment, which led to her suspension. Former Niger Delta Minister Akpabio emphasized his personal relationships with Natasha's family, calling her husband a close friend.
