NYSC Member Ushie Uguamaye Alleges Threats After Criticizing Tinubu’s Administration.

NYSC member Ushie Uguamaye from Lagos has raised concerns about alleged threats after her viral TikTok video criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for economic hardship and inflation.

In the video, she condemned Nigeria’s worsening economic conditions, called Tinubu a “dreadful leader,” and described Lagos as a “smelling state.”

Shortly after the video gained traction, Uguamaye claimed she began receiving threats, allegedly from NYSC officials, pressuring her to delete the content. She took to Instagram, stating that the government was trying to silence her and that she feared for her safety.

She insisted she had only spoken the truth and questioned why corps members were being restricted from expressing their opinions.

Despite being asked to report to work on Monday, she expressed fear over the situation. Her allegations have sparked debate on social media, with many questioning whether the NYSC is suppressing free speech among corps members.
