Thomas Tuchel has officially signed a contract with the Football Association to become the new manager of England, succeeding Gareth Southgate.
The 51-year-old German, who previously led Chelsea to Champions League success in 2021, has been out of work since his departure from Bayern Munich last season.
His appointment marks the first time England will have a German-born manager.
FA chief executive Mark Bullingham and technical director John McDermott have been in talks with Tuchel for the past month, finalizing the deal to replace Southgate after his summer resignation.
