A 24-year-old Nigerian woman, Priscilla Ocheme, reportedly passed away after visiting her boyfriend in Abuja, according to a post on the social media site X (formerly Twitter).
The post claims that Priscilla was found dead after the visit, with her boyfriend claiming the incident was an accident.
However, Priscilla's family is demanding justice, claiming that she was murdered by her boyfriend in Lugbe, and they are angry at the police for releasing the suspect before performing an autopsy, while her body is still in the mortuary.
Now, Priscilla's family is calling for clarification and responsibility.
In addition, the social media user posted a picture of the said partner, casting doubt on his version of events. This is the man she supposedly went to see. She had an accident, he says.
Where was the accident? How? Was the car empty except for her? The poster's final message cautioned others to exercise caution when they are out and to always let someone know where they are.
He wrote, “And guys, ‘I dey come’ is not a location. Anytime you’re heading out, tell someone. You might feel grown enough to handle yourself, but like it or not, there are situations you can’t handle alone, especially if you’re a woman.”
