Angel Unigwe Breaks Silence on Kanayo O. Kanayo’s Threat to Blacklist Her.

Teenage Nollywood actress Angel Unigwe broke her silence and faced criticism as well as praise when her mother and elder colleague, Kanayo O. Kanayo, accused them of uninvited disturbances on their set.

In a social media post, Kanayo accused Unigwe of breaking the terms of their contract, as Bendelnews reported.

Kanayo claimed that during a recent production, the young actress's mother and manager, Mrs. Juliet Unigwe, forbade her daughter from adhering to their agreement.

He claimed that by removing her daughter off the settings, the child's mother is "fond of botching productions."

Despite the expectation of many fans that Angel Unigwe would address the outcry, she chose to use her profile to advertise her next film.

Many people responded to her post; actors Mercy Kenneth and Omoni Oboli, who was her film mentor, both offered their support.

She avoided the topic and concentrated on promoting her movie when a netizen brought up Kanayo's threat to put her on a blacklist.

She was also kindly asked to pray for her to get through this difficult time in her film career, and she obliged.

While everyone was praising and encouraging her, a number of people swamped her comment area with requests for her to apologize.

This comes after stars Stanley OnTop and Izutech, as well as movie producers, took to social media to support Kanayo's assertions that Angel Unigwe and her mother are causing issues for filmmakers in the business.
