Celebrity bartender Cubana Chief Priest and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have agreed to settle the naira abuse lawsuit out of court. Read full article 

The EFCC had filed accusations of naira misuse against Cubana Chief Priest. Nonetheless, ₦10 million in bail was given to the socialite. 

Nigerians' opinions on the EFCC's plan to detain and prosecute Naira abusers have been divided, with some arguing that the commission lacks the authority to take such action.

Furthermore, some argue that the real issue facing Nigeria is not Naira abusers but rather looters in high places, while others maintain that the EFCC was following shadows and persecuting weaker Nigerians. Continue reading
