Dad Supposedly Loses 9-Year-Old Daughter in Medical Emergency During Access Bank App Downtime.


Owing to an extended disruption of its mobile application, Access Bank, a prominent financial institution in Nigeria, encountered strong consumer backlash and a tragic loss of life. 

Several users couldn't even log in or access their accounts during the Monday morning outage, never alone finish transactions. 

Because of the app's glitch, a single father who works offshore reportedly lost his 9-year-old daughter in a medical emergency; the situation escalated. 

Customers vented their anger and irritation on social media at the bank for their poor customer service and frequent technical issues. 

The incident has questioned the bank's dependability and competence to handle these kinds of situations professionally.
