The general admission (GA) ticket pricing strategy for the men's first team for the 2024–2025 season was revealed today by Chelsea Football Club.

This is our chance to express our gratitude to each and every one of you for your support throughout the 2023–2024 campaign.

The Fan Advisory Board (FAB) was consulted extensively over a 12-month period by the club to decide the new pricing tiers, and the FAB has given its approval for the new structure.

Chelsea FC's adult GA season ticket prices have been frozen since 2011–12, which means that since 2005, the true cost of season tickets has decreased by 34.5%.

Inflationary pressures have also affected the costs of running Stamford Bridge and organizing matchdays, especially in recent years when they have increased by 33% since 2018.

The price of general admission tickets will rise by 5% this year, after a span of only three price hikes in 20 seasons.

In addition, season ticket holders will receive a three percent discount on all stands as compared to the price of buying a single match. In GA zones, no fan will spend more than £4 more per game.

Chelsea FC's owners are dedicated to creating a profitable and successful team, and they are looking at every avenue to increase earnings with the least amount of negative effects on game-day spectators.

For the first two seasons under the current management, general admission ticket rates were fixed, and the club will continue to communicate with the FAB about plans for next seasons.

We stated last year that we would examine our concession strategy, and the board has chosen to maintain the 50% concessionary reduction in comparison to the full adult fee for the 24–25 season.

"We are delighted to have had such active collaboration from our Fan Advisory Board in determining next season's GA ticket prices," stated Chelsea CEO Chris Jurasek.

We know how important it is to strike a balance between the needs of the supporters and the necessity of doing everything within our power to generate the income growth that will be essential to this team's on-field success and long-term financial viability.

"We welcome the club's thorough consultation with the FAB on this critical issue for supporters," stated Neil Beard, chairman of the Fan Advisory Board.

We did not come to this consensus recommendation lightly. The club was transparent with us regarding revenue expectations and how they would affect Chelsea's competitiveness.

Collaborating closely, we examined the long-term patterns while accounting for past freezes and inflation rates. We ensured that the financial effect on backers was appropriately recognized and taken into consideration.

We at the FAB think that this is a just and appropriate adjustment, and we look forward to keeping our close and cooperative relationship with the club going ahead.

Chelsea FC is aware that some fans may find this price rise difficult to afford, especially given the state of the economy right now.

Consequently, the club will keep providing payment plans so that season ticket costs can be disbursed over a number of months.

We have chosen to increase this time from six to eight months. Season ticket holders will be able to exchange their unused seats for other season ticket holders and members through the ticket exchange.

Season ticket holders will be able to exchange their unused seats for other members via the ticket exchange.

More details will be released soon. The team is currently finalizing plans for the season ticket renewal window, which is scheduled to open in early June.
