President Tinubu Salary Increment Structure: Six Consolidated Salary Structures Get 25% to 35% Increment, Pensioners, 20% To 28%.

Salary increases for federal personnel on the remaining six consolidated compensation structures would range from 25% to 35%, according to the administration of President Bola Tinubu. Read full article 

Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS), Consolidated Salary Structure for Research and Allied Institutions (CONRAISS), Consolidated Police Salary Structure (CONPOSS), Consolidated Para-military Salary Structure (CONPASS), Consolidated Intelligence Community Salary Structure (CONICCS), and Consolidated Armed Forces Salary Structure (CONAFSS) are the six salary structures. 

Salary increases had already been granted to employees in the health and postsecondary education sectors. For universities, the Salary structures are the Consolidated Tertiary Institutions Salary Structure (CONTISS) and the Consolidated University Academic Salary Structure (CONUASS). 

Consolidated Polytechnics and Colleges of Education Academic Staff Salary Structure (CONPCASS) and Consolidated Tertiary Educational Institutions Salary Structure (CONTEDISS) applied to polytechnics and colleges of education.

The Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) and Consolidated Health industry Salary Structure (CONHESS) were beneficial to the health industry as well.

The National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC) Head of Press, Emmanuel Njoku, signed a statement stating that the increases would be implemented on January 1, 2024. 

With effect from January 1, 2024, the government also approved pension increases ranging from 20% to 28% for retirees on the Defined Benefits Scheme for the six consolidated wage structures that benefited from the permission. Continue reading
