Kano State Police Command's crackdown on suspected thug Abba Garba, alias "Dan 'Kuda," for the murder of his friend Zaharaddeen Iliyasu.
Garba, a Dorayi quarters resident, was nabbed while attempting to escape to Niger Republic after allegedly slitting Iliyasu's throat.
SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the command's spokesperson, confirmed the incident on March 31, 2024, citing a mild misunderstanding as the motive.
Enhanced police vigilance in the Dorayi area is in response to escalating thuggery jeopardizing community harmony.
