The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the southwest, led by Eddy Olafeso, a former national vice chairman, claims that under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigerians have only known suffering.
Olafeso argued that life was better for the populace while the opposing party was in control, emphasizing that there is no apparent solution.
Speaking in the capital of Ondo State, Akure, he expressed hope that when the opposition party takes back control of affairs, Nigerians will grin.
"We are very sure and confident that the future will be better and that the PDP will take back power and connect to do what it did in the past to develop Nigeria," the PDP stalwart declared, despite the difficulties they are now facing.
I have no doubts at all that we will go back. "There is poverty throughout the nation, insecurity, and the disappearance of the middle class.
What else is there to be desired if not the people's support for the PDP's goal of bringing wealth to this nation as soon as possible?
In addition to our unwavering resolve, we are confident that the future will take care of itself.
The state of Nigeria, particularly the predicament that the country's citizens find themselves in under the APC, cannot last forever.
"I can't wait to see where we are headed. We are moving in the right direction, which is triumph and victory.
