How Mr. Ibu died, And What Killed him..

Veteran actor John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu, passed away following a protracted struggle with a blood clot on his leg. On Saturday, March 2, the actor passed away in a Lagos state hospital.

Family sources claim that since he just had a second surgery to treat his illness, the actor has been on life support. According to the family source, following the surgery, his blood pressure was over 200, and attempts were being made to bring it down before his untimely death this evening.

The actor fought for years against various health issues, including a persistent blood clot on his leg caused by damaged blood vessels. He went public in October 2023, pleading for money to treat his illness. His physicians canceled the plan to fly him overseas for additional medical care because they thought he wasn't well enough to fly.

In November 2023, his leg was removed as part of his treatment.

The actor leaves behind his spouse and kids. His age was sixty-two.

The seasoned actor was well-known for his superb portrayal of comedic roles in motion pictures.

Amen. May his soul rest in peace.
