Agidy was among at least 19 individuals abducted from their homes in the Galadimawa area of the nation’s capital in November 2023.
Earlier reports indicated that 12 of the abducted persons were killed, but their identities remained unclear as rescue efforts were underway.
Confirming Agidy's death on Tuesday, the FCT PPRO stated that he was killed by one of the notorious kidnappers, Samaila Wakili, who had been wanted for terrorizing the capital.
Wakili was apprehended on February 24 in the Sardauna Forest, Nasarawa State.
Upon his arrest, Wakili led police to the location where Agidy's remains were found, which were subsequently deposited at Gwagwalada General Hospital. Continue reading
