Ahead of Chelsea's Carabao Cup final match against Liverpool on Sunday, manager Mauricio Pochettino has demanded "fairness" from referee Chris Kavanagh. Read full history

In their 4-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield on January 31, Pochettino expressed his disapproval of a number of decisions that went against his squad.

Pochettino has corresponded with Kavanagh on refereeing, since the Carabao Cup is his first opportunity to win a trophy with the Blues.

Contrary to this, Jurgen Klopp wants to win more trophies before leaving Anfield in the summer.

I think there were too many decisions made at Anfield when we played Liverpool. We didn't make any important decisions.

There were not two penalties handed. 50/50s, duels, always for a different color. Red all the time. I wish to receive fair treatment.

We're going to celebrate, of course. I'll be the first to admit that Klopp is one of the greatest coaches in the world and Liverpool is an incredible team.

"However, I believe that what I want from Wembley is to go there and not feel under pressure, especially after my last performance there.

The best team will win if all teams play at the same level. nevertheless, to avoid feeling the strain from those around them," Pochettino said at a press conference.
