Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, a Nigerian Catholic priest, asserted on Tuesday, February 20, in a Facebook post that Nigerians bear responsibility for the nation's hardships.
Responding to followers who suggested that the prayers of impoverished and famished Nigerians would impact President Tinubu, Fr. Ugwu emphasized that Tinubu would not face repercussions and would likely live longer than anticipated.
He underscored that Nigerians are currently experiencing the consequences of their collective actions, including mediocrity, tribalism, recklessness, insincere religiosity, and a lack of common sense.
Fr. Ugwu urged individuals to prioritize their own survival before praying for others.
