This comes after her previous arrest in January, where police apprehended her while attempting to book hotel rooms for guests attending her birthday party. SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the command's spokesperson, stated that clerics' complaints about her use of vulgar language and influence on societal morals through her videos led to the arrest.
In November 2023, the Kano Hisbah announced plans to facilitate marriages for TikTokers, including Kunya.

Kunya was apprehended late Monday at her residence in Tinshama area after a three-hour wait.
She faces charges related to her widely known immoral acts, including a routine late-night pickup and drop-off.
Kunya will be arraigned before a Shari’ah Court sitting at PRP on Tuesday.
