As previously reported by Bendelnews, Big Brother Naija reality star Angel Smith said that Super Eagles goalie Stanley Nwabali had been promised 100 strippers to celebrate Nigeria's victory over South Africa.

Nigeria's Super Eagles overcame South Africa's Bafana Bafana 4-2 in a penalty shootout on Wednesday, advancing them to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.

Stanley Nwabali, who stopped two penalty kicks, was the game's MVP.

In an X post, Angel Smith shared his happiness at the victory and asked social media star and artist Yhemolee to come in contact with Nwabali. To celebrate, he further pledged to give the custodian one hundred strippers. Angel wrote:
