The 26-year-old Enfield, Middlesex, accounts assistant who placed second will now compete as Miss London in the final.

This occurs after Natasha Beresford, the first Miss London beauty pageant winner, forfeited her title after withdrawing from the Miss England competition to be the finest possible bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding.

"Unfortunately, I will no longer be representing London and taking part in the Miss England national final in May," stated Natasha, a dental nurse hailing from Sheffield.

The same weekend, my closest friend is getting married in the north of England, and I have already committed to being a bridesmaid.

"I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their support throughout the competition, and I wish the best of luck to all of the Miss England finalists."

She was scheduled to compete in the Miss England final in Wolverhampton in May, and according to the organizers, she had a "great chance" of winning.

Miss England's national director, Angie Beasley, has officially announced that 26-year-old Temi Adeyemi, the runner-up, will now represent Miss London in the final.

Adeyemi made the following comment in a statement: "My goal was to embrace my natural beauty and enter the Miss England Final makeup free."

It's an empowering remark in my opinion. I consider it an honor to represent London. I can't wait.
