Christian Association of Nigeria Calls for Unity and Resilience in the Face of Adversity, Issues New Year Message for 2024"

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has conveyed a New Year message, acknowledging the challenges faced in 2023 due to the nation's insecurity.

CAN, led by President Archbishop Daniel Okoh, expressed deep concern about the Christmas Eve attacks in Plateau and emphasized the fragility of peace in the country.

In their statement, CAN intensified prayers for the lost lives, grieving families, and called on the Almighty for an end to such senseless violence.

Despite the adversities, they urged unity, resilience, and a commitment to building a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation.

Looking ahead, CAN encouraged Nigerians to approach 2024 with renewed purpose, drawing strength from faith, shared values, and collective resolve.

They called for unity in diversity, emphasizing that together, as one united people, Nigeria can overcome obstacles and create a future marked by peace, justice, and prosperity.

The message concluded with a hopeful vision for a transformative era and a plea for God's blessings upon Nigeria in the coming year.
