UEFA President Supports European Super League Despite Court Ruling"

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has expressed his thoughts on the European Super League's new plans, following a court ruling that criticized UEFA and FIFA for obstructing its formation.

Ceferin, while acknowledging the proposed closed competition, encourages the breakaway league to proceed, emphasizing that football is not for sale.

Despite opposition from clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona continue to support the league.

The league's detailed format, presented by A22 CEO Bernd Reichart, outlines a structure involving both men's and women's competitions, with promotion and relegation based on sporting merit. Ceferin remains skeptical about the venture's success.
