In a disturbing video from 2019, a Chinese surgeon allegedly punched his 82-year-old patient three times during eye surgery, sparking outrage on Chinese social media. Read full article 

The incident, which took place at Aier China's hospital in Guigang, is now under investigation. 

The patient, unable to tolerate local anesthesia, moved during surgery, prompting the surgeon to act roughly. 

The hospital apologized, compensating the victim with 500 yuan. The woman reportedly suffered bruises and is now blind in her left eye. 

Aier China suspended the surgeon and dismissed the hospital's CEO for serious violations. The incident gained attention after prominent doctor Ai Fen shared CCTV footage online.
