Senator Adams Oshiomole, a member of the Senate Committee on Trade, criticizes Minister Doris Uzoka's proposed N1 billion budget for a Geneva trip in the 2024 budget. 

Oshiomole advocates for utilizing in-country expertise to cut costs and emphasizes the importance of homegrown products, questioning the lack of data on Nigeria's Balance of Trade. 

Minister Uzoka defends the budget, asserting her ability to work from anywhere and revealing plans to establish a Trade Intelligence Unit to generate and store trade data. 

Oshiomole disputes the minister's claim of no records, stating that such data exist with the CBN, Customs, and other agencies.
