This is happening only one month after an attempt was made to save his life by amputating his limb.
Vanguard reports that Mr. Ibu has since had another surgery to remove a piece of the same leg that was amputated last month.
Concerns are rising due to the declining health of Mr. Ibu as well as the ailing state of legendary actor Amaechi Muonagor.
Amaechi Muonagor has been receiving medical care at the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Anambra State, for more than two months.
In a phone interview with the publication, Dr. Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), gave an update on the condition of these unwell actors.
With regard to the two actors, we are leaving things to fate. Mr. Ibu has had another leg amputated and scarcely speaks anymore as I speak with you," he said.
