Yakubu Abdulmalik Bala, a member of the Niger State House of Assembly representing Katcha Constituency, has switched from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bala officially announced his defection on the House floor, symbolizing the move by raising the APC flag.
He attributed his decision to join the APC to the commendable efforts of the state governor in delivering democratic benefits to the people.
