Former Manchester United academy star, Ravel Morrison, has been convicted of fraud and fined £1000 for using a dead person's blue badge to park his Continue Reading..

Morrison admitted guilt at a magistrates court, acknowledging one count of fraud.

Parking wardens impounded his Audi A3 earlier in the year after issuing a penalty ticket. 

The blue badge used by Morrison belonged to a person who died in February 2022. Morrison explained that he purchased the blue badge from someone in Old Trafford for £50. 

Blue badges are for individuals with disabilities or health conditions, allowing them to park closer to their destination. 

Morrison was fined and required to pay costs and a victim surcharge. 

Manchester City Council emphasized the applicability of the law to everyone, commending investigating officers for successful prosecution.
