According to the self-intimacy guide, she has always looked for certain qualities in a person, and these are the sentiments she has with the tree.

"What I'm looking for is the presence I feel with the tree, but that's a fantasy with a person," stated Sonja, a resident of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

"The sensation of being small and solidly supported." the experience of being immobile.

"I had been craving that rush of erotic energy that comes when you meet a new partner and that is not sustainable.

For the whole winter, Sonja stated, "I was walking a path near the tree five days a week." With the tree, I sensed a connection.

"To the contrary, I would lie. With something so large and ancient holding my back, there was an allure."

The sentiments Sonja experiences from nature are not always the same as those she experiences from human sexuality, she says, adding that she does not have sexual relations with the tree.

"It's a common misperception that ecosexuality entails having sex with the natural world; in reality, it's an alternative approach to exploring the erotic," the speaker stated.

I find it a sensual experience to observe the seasons change. Everything comes alive in the spring and you mate after passing away in the winter.

Sex with people and the eroticism ecosexuals experience in environment share certain parallels, but they are not the same.

According to Sonja, we might address climate challenges if we acknowledged our own ecosexuality. She feels that everyone possesses this trait.

She stated: "Many individuals already have it. There's a reason why we enjoy taking hikes and picnics in parks.

"We overlook the fact that we desire this in order to access the erotic, which is the life force derived from these things.

I think a more symbiotic relationship with nature would be beneficial for humans, and it may be erotic as well.
