This is mentioned in a statement that WAEC's acting public affairs unit head, Moyosola Adesina, signed and made public on Monday.
According to the release, the innovation will start in February 2024 when the West African Senior School Certificate Examination is given to independent applicants.
"The West African Examinations Council's Nigeria National Office wishes to inform the general public and all of its stakeholders that it has concluded plans to migrate its WASSCE for Private Candidates Examination Diets from Paper and Pencil Test to Computer Based Examination in line with global best practices," a statement from the organization said in part.
