Speaking through the Minister of Niger Delta Development at the University of Benin's convocation, Tinubu acknowledged concerns about unpaid salaries and declared a four-month payment for university workers.

 He emphasized that this waiver does not negate the 'No Work, No Pay' policy. 

Additionally, Tinubu pledged the government's commitment to improving university conditions, providing infrastructure through TETFund, and fostering an entrepreneurial outlook.
