President Bola Tinubu Gears Up for Saudi-Africa Summit in Riyadh, Focusing on Economic Cooperation and Security Collaboration.

 


In advance of the forthcoming Saudi-African Summit on November 10, President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the airport upon his arrival in the Middle Eastern country, ministers, members of the National Assembly, and other government officials met him.

The visit is expected to strengthen the administration's ongoing domestic economic reforms. 

According to the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, the discussions during the first Saudi-Africa Summit will focus on collaborative efforts, improved political coordination, and the addressing of regional security challenges.

Furthermore, the summit aims to promote economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions, which is anticipated to encourage cross-sectoral investment cooperation.

Accompanying President Tinubu are key members of his cabinet, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman; and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun.

Additional delegates include the National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu; the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; and the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Arabi.
