This budget, titled "Budget of Reconstruction and Recovery," is divided into two major components: N165,654,976,700 for recurrent expenditure and N108,254,020,710 for capital expenditure.
Governor Adeleke emphasized that the primary goal of this budget is to rebuild the state's economy, which has been facing challenges.
He pointed out that the budget presentation adheres to the state's laws, which require it to be presented before the end of the year.
The Governor thanked the House of Assembly for their cooperation and assured that the budget's implementation would contribute to the state's progress. He also sought the continued support of the House for future endeavors.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, expressed the Assembly's commitment to collaborate with the Executive branch in ensuring the successful execution of this budget.
