Speaking during the official launch of the 2023 dry season wheat development season in Jigawa State under the National Agricultural Growth Scheme and AgroPocket Project (NAGS-AP), funded by a $134 million loan from the African Development Bank, Sen.Kyari emphasized the government's commitment to expanding farmers' capacity in cultivating key staples.
He stressed that the 50% inputs subsidy provided aims to reduce food inflation, lessen dependence on foreign imports, and increase domestic consumption.
