 Johnson was killed during a match on October 28, and it has now emerged that he was going to ask Wolfe to marry him. Family friends, including Scott Pionk, confirmed Johnson's intention to propose. 

Wolfe and Johnson had been dating for over a year, and she gave an emotional eulogy at his funeral in Minnesota, expressing gratitude for his support and describing him as her "everything.
