Recall that Wunmi had been pushed to take his grandson's DNA by Joseph Aloba, the late singer's father.
One time, Falegan reprimanded Wunmi for not taking the test and threatened to withhold financial support if she did.
He has written to the father of the late Mohbad again, asking for permission to cover the cost of the DNA test.
He said in a brief statement that Mohbad's father is from Ikere, Ekiti, and that if permission was granted, he would be happy to pay the cost.
Ope Falegan stated that he wants to pay for the DNA test because he believes that any issue affecting residents of his state is extremely important to him.
