Rema announced in a devastating Instagram post that he would not be performing anyplace in December after his sold-out O2 event.

After years of touring, Rema claimed to have neglected his health and announced that he would be taking a hiatus until 2024.

Davido retorted that being an artist is a mentally and physically taxing profession.

He said that his younger colleague's thrilling performance and music had surpassed all expectations.

Rema was encouraged by Davido to rest and return stronger.
