The bride, Lizzydamsel Etim on Facebook, took to the social media site to share her sorrow over her husband's passing.
She claims that after complaining of a headache and being sent to the hospital, where he was given a malaria diagnosis, the hospital declined to treat him, and he died as a result.
Screenshots of the bride's friend's chat with the woman who told her about the tragedy were uploaded on Facebook by the friend of the bride.
According to reports, the bride told her friend that they did not want visitors to her and that she had been kept out of the way, which may be part of the grief-process in their native Akwa Ibom.
The husband's new burial date is now the wedding day, which was originally scheduled for November 11th.
