Former Minister Fani-Kayode Accuses Islamic Scholar Gumi of Igniting Religious Conflict in Nigeria: Calls for urgent Government Intervention.

This accusation stems from Gumi's comments suggesting that Nigeria should not entrust the responsibility of securing the country to Christians and his call for the removal of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike due to a meeting with an Israeli envoy in Abuja.

Gumi's remarks have raised concerns about the potential for exacerbating religious and ethnic tensions in the country.

Fani-Kayode, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on the Federal Government to intervene and caution Gumi, emphasizing the need to prevent further escalation of these divisive issues in Nigeria.

This situation underscores the delicate nature of religious and ethnic relations in the country and the importance of addressing such inflammatory rhetoric to maintain peace and unity.
