Peter Obi will not win at the tribunal, the worst that can happen is a rerun of the election or it will remain the way it is_Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, encouraged Nigerians on Tuesday to temper their expectations for the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal's decision on Wednesday.

Oluwatosin Osho, his media assistant, released this statement on his behalf.

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), will not prevail in the tribunal, he continued.

He also urged those who would lose the case to uphold the law and prevent unneeded anger and instability from erupting across the nation.

The outcome of the judgement will not be what Peter Obi and his supporters want, claims Ayodele.

He will not be able to claim victory through the tribunal, and as I have stated, the worst that can occur is that the election will be redone or things will continue as they are.

Losers should uphold peace and order regardless of the outcome; they shouldn't incite riots simply because they lost the case.

"As it stands right now, it's still precarious; a repeat isn't guaranteed, but God can change anything.

The majority of Nigerians would not like the election tribunal's decision, and the majority of Nigerians shouldn't hold high hopes for the election tribunal because the ruling class is unwilling to let justice prevail.

It won't be simple to change the results of the presidential election; they still want to hold onto power no matter what.

I've previously stated that if the opposition permits Tinubu to win the election, the judiciary will be powerless to remove him.

The prophet also asked the judges to safeguard the nation's unity by ensuring justice is upheld by any means necessary, regardless of the different intimidation tactics.

With their decisions, judges have the power to improve or destroy the nation.

The best they can do, given the existing tension in the nation, is to ensure that justice is done, regardless of the various intimidation tactics, at any costs.

They ought to be accountable for passing judgement on the situation, he continued.
