JUST IN: NLC to embark on nationwide warning strike over fuel price hike

 In order to protest the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's policies, the Nigeria Labour Congress, or NLC, has called for a statewide strike.

This was exclusively revealed on Wednesday to Bendelnews by Mr. Ben Upah, a spokesperson for the NLC.

He claimed that on August 2, 2023, the nationwide strike would start.

"Yes, the national strike will start on August 2nd, 2023. We'll be issuing a statement shortly to that effect," he stated.
