Nedu, who cites a firsthand encounter with a choir member whom he mistook for a virgin, has firmly asserted that not all chorus girls are godly.

Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known as Nedu Wazobia, is a well-known on-air personality who has claimed that choir girls' outward look does not always correspond to who they are inside.
Nedu made this revelation in an interview for the "Across the Bridge" program on Naija FM.
Nedu made the claim that not all choir girls are pious in reference to a close experience he had with a choir member who he thought was a virgin.
Nedu discussed his encounter and how his friend had advised him against dating the girl due to what she had done during church night practices.
According to Nedu in pidgin English:
"I stated that I wanted to marry the girl. Why, he asked? I was given the girl to "chop," he claimed.
The girl is a virgin, I remarked. 'Which virgin?' he yelled. He claimed that occasionally they would be performing on stage during all-night practices. The girl has a guy who enters from behind her. They will be in the back, he replied.
"They occasionally hear moaning sounds. The same moaning sound would become considerably louder as he got closer. Is she still a virgin?
"My brother, be afraid of any choir girls. However, some are absolutely fantastic.
One of the hostesses inquired if only sisters were to be dreaded, to which he responded:
The brothers are the worst.
