Israel Afeare, better known as Israel DMW, Davido's logistics manager and socialist, has expressed regret to the Muslim community for the contentious video that the singer posted on social media.

According to Bendelnews, Davido received harsh criticism for posting the music video for his signee, Logos Olori's latest single, "Jaye Lo," which featured dancing and Islamic-styled prayer.

Davido removed the contentious video from his social media platforms as a result of the outrage.

But Davido continues to face pressure from the Muslim community to provide a formal apology.

In a post on his Instagram account, Israel DMW expressed his boss's regrets.

Israel claimed that the film was only intended as entertainment and that it had been misrepresented.

"Let me specifically apologise to my Muslim brothers and sisters," he added, "for the video my oga posted, where he was seen trying to pull up one of his wives.
