The Internet sensation from Warri claimed to be a devoted supporter of President Bola Tinubu and the APC before switching to the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) vice presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, Ifeanyi Okowa, after reading a passage in the Bible about making amends.
Mr. Jollof claimed he advised people to stop supporting the APC after defecting, but many people did not take his advice seriously, criticizing Nigerians for the current rise in the price of gasoline and other economic hardships.
He made this assertion in a popular YouTube video.
"I support Tinubu from the beginning but when I see the tigers wey dey with am and when I see the way this people say they are users," Mr. Jollof stated in Pidgin English. The employed me. I served APC.
