This was revealed in a statement on Saturday by Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, the chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queen.
Following their dismal performance in the current Nigeria National League season, the entire team was fired.
But when it came to the team's coach and other technical staff, Abdulmalik remained silent.
According to information obtained by Bendelnews, Kogi United fell to Hypebuzz FC 4:0 on Saturday in Abuja.
They have now been demoted to the Nigerian League's lowest level.
Due to their appalling performances over the past two seasons, Kogi United was unable to hold onto their place in the Nigeria National League.
