Five persons were killed on Saturday in an explosion at a military explosives factory in Turkey, according to the provincial governor.
The dynamite preparation department experienced an explosion about 8:45 am (05:45 GMT) as a result of a chemical reaction. Vasip Sahin, governor of the Ankara province, told reporters at the factory: "Unfortunately, five workers were killed.
All of the victims' remains have been pulled from the debris, and prosecutors have launched an accident investigation.
The facility is a part of Turkey's defence ministry and is located in the Elmadag district, around 40 kilometres (25 miles) east of the capital Ankara.
