Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, has pardoned the Happie Boys.
This occurs after the cleric called him out online for cursing the two of them for being impolite.
Happie Boys, who lost their jobs as security guards last year, claimed they left school in Cyprus after just six months due to financial difficulties.
The Happie Boys have been pardoned by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries.
The cleric is said to have cursed the two of them online for being insensitive before this happened.
"If there are clothes I bought for you, and you sell those clothes to feed, you will suffer poverty, you will never achieve anything in life, regardless of where you are," the man said.
On Tuesday, the preacher said that he would reinstate their scholarship, but they would have to complete their education at any university of their choice in either Nigeria or Benin Republic.
Chinyere added that he was unable to pay Happie Boys and other students' tuition because of a lack of foreign exchange beneficiaries Of His Scholarship Scheme.
I am Omega Power Ministries' (OPM) General Overseer, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, he wrote. The level of gratitude I received from well-meaning Nigerians for my efforts to better the lives of those in less fortunate circumstances in Nigeria makes me feel humbled.
Everyone is familiar with the tale of the joyful boys and how I stepped in by sending them to study in Cyprus. I believed that at their age, education was more important than employment as security. Due to the Dollar rate, which made it very expensive for me to pay the tuition for more than 4,000 recipients of my scholarship programme, I stopped supporting the scheme in order to wait and see if the dollar would decline. Additionally, I spoke with each parent and provided them with options, including return to Nigeria and continue their studies or Benin Republic.
Now that I have resolved to forgive joyful lads for anything they posted about me and the church because of God and because I am a father. In light of this, I've decided to reinstate their scholarship so that they can continue attending any university in Nigeria or the Benin Republic. I've given the matron, whom I hired to look after them, instructions to book their flight back to Nigeria.
