According to The Mail on Sunday, Manchester City will receive almost £166 million from the Premier League's central coffers and prize money this season.
The prize money for winning England's top division is at an all-time high.
After Arsenal fell 1-0 at Nottingham Forest, Pep Guardiola's team clinched their third straight championship.
Last May, when City won their fourth championship in five years, they took home £153 million. However, as a number of improved overseas TV contracts from 2022–2023 begin to take effect, that will rise this season.
Arsenal will receive £162.2 million, assuring them of a second-place finish.
The third- and fourth-place clubs will receive, respectively, £158.6 million and £156.8 million.
The elite division's 20 clubs are anticipated to split about £2.7.
