On Monday, Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, congratulated Hilda Bassey Effiong, a.k.a. Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, for shattering the record for the most hours spent cooking.
The record was previously held by Indian chef Lata Tondon, and Bendelnews had previously claimed that Hilda had broken it on Monday at 7:45 am.
In a post sent through his Twitter account, Tinubu responded by expressing his admiration for Hilda Baci.
He wrote on Twitter: "I applaud Hilda Effiong Bassey for her world record-breaking accomplishment.
It was a magnificent demonstration of the Nigerian people's spirit of excellence and can-do mentality. We all have the utmost respect for her.
