Spyro explains why he will never collaborate on a song with Portable in this video.
Spyro, real name Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, recently discussed the possibility of recording a song with Portable in an interview with Lagos' Cool FM.
Spyro has categorically stated that Portable is the only artist he will never work with.
He explained that the main reason was their different musical preferences, hinting that Portable wouldn't be able to do a respectable performance if he created a song for him.
The host of the programme, Do2tun, asked the rapidly growing singer, "Who's that artiste you can't do music with?"
We simply don't cross paths, not because I have a problem with him. Our musical tastes aren't compatible. Because it's not his style, he won't be able to perform the music I write for him," he remarked.
Spyro responded, "I think Portable is good," when asked if he thought Portable was a decent vocalist. When people act in the manner that a music portable does, it's on purpose.
