Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, and goalie Aaron Ramsdale have warned Manchester City that anything can happen in the fight for the Premier League championship.
Ramsdale stated that they would be keeping an eye on Man City because they thought that eventually the Citizens would falter and Arsenal would pick up the pieces.
This came after the Gunners defeated Eddie Howe's team 2-0 at St. James' Park to defeat Newcastle and earn all three points.
Arsenal earned all three points at St. James' Park and now trails league-leading City by one point.
As the race for the 2022-23 trophy heats up, Arsenal has three Premier League games left while City has four.
"We must persevere, stick with it, and compete [in the title race] to the very end. Since this is football, anything could happen, so we must be prepared.
"Hopefully, we'll be there to pick up the pieces if they mess up. From the sidelines, we'll be watching.
