Despite being admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2016, well-known skitmaker and content producer Michael Sani Amanesi, nicknamed MC Lively, has explained why he does not work as a lawyer.
The Obafemi Awolowo University graduate claimed he received a job offer for N5,000 at a law firm.
He disclosed this during a recent conversation with well-known media figure Chude Jideonwo.
I love law so much, MC Lively exclaimed. I was really great at it. I just adore it. But there was a huge conflict between what you did in school and what you had to deal with in real life. It's very distinctive.
How can you tell me that you can give me N5,000 per month after I spent so much money attending law school and graduating as a corper? To what end?
No, it was very distressing. And I recall that I had to hunt for work on my own in many chambers before I even got that particular job. I went to like three or four chambers before I found that one, and each one of them told me there was nothing they could do. This is not even close to being a genuine employment, NYSC. Simply put, NYSC.
"Now, picture what you would have to go through even after the NYSC is over and you want a real job."
